LHH is assisting our client in Dallas, Texas with their search for a full-cycle bookkeeper to join their growing team! This position is responsible for overseeing accounting services functions. This role will be hybrid after training!
Responsibilities
Entering, reconciling, and maintaining the financial records for a variety of clients.
Preparation of payroll reports.
Financial statement preparation.
After-the-fact review and correction of work.
Interface with clients on QuickBooks and payroll questions.
Assist with updating asset/depreciation schedules.
Assist with preparation of work papers and journal entries for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA preferred, but not required.
Minimum 5 years of experience, including review experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks required; QuickBooks Pro Advisor is a plus.
Full understanding of accounting standards and tax concepts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Lacerte tax software a plus.
