Senior Litigation Attorney - AM LAW

I am currently working with an award-winning AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to recruit an Attorney who specializes in complex litigation to join their Kansas City office.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex litigation cases.

Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.

Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.

Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.

Admission to the state bar of Missouri.

6+ years of experience in complex litigation matters.

Candidates with general liability litigation experience is a plus.

Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Candidates with deposition and/or court room experience is preferred.
