Manager, Supply Planning - Sephora Singapore
The Role
Sephora Singapore is seeking to hire a Manager, Supply Planning. This is an exciting role and will suit you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well with others, and you are passionate about driving results.
As the Manager, Supply Palnning, you will report to the Head of Finance & Supply Planning for Singapore, with a functional reporting line to the Supply Chain Director for Southeast Asia.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure optimal on-shelf availability and stock levels across all 11 stores in Singapore. You will ensure shipment arrives on time and are distributed to the respective stores efficiently to meet their commercial goals. For our Selective (non-exclusive) brands, you will liaise with brand partners to manage supply, and be accountable for the demand & supply planning.
Summary of responsibilities:
Define and drive end-to-end Supply Planning best practices
Collaborate with internal teams to continuously monitor in-store inventory levels; including stock replenishment, rebalancing and returns
Manage stores’ replenishment for locally and overseas sourced products, including:
Validating stores’ replenishment calendar with suppliers and Sephora regional team in Singapore
Manage the automatic replenishment software for local orders
Ensure accuracy of stocks in stores
Establish a robust cycle count process to ensure accuracy of inventory
Managing order entry, tracking of order progress and delivery, and managing claims
Analyze data to prioritize improvement opportunities in lead time, inventory requirements, order fulfilment costs and overall service levels.
Involve in demand planning with Merchandising team for key sales events
Create long-term demand forecast by taking into account fluctuations (e.g. promotional activities, seasonality)
Build and maintain a strong relationship with local suppliers to ensure high order fill rates, quick replenishment times and error-free operations
Collaborate with the Merchandising team to manage the inventory impact of brand marketing campaigns and new brand/product launches
Communicate ideas for slow moving products/brands to the category team to ensure minimal ageing stock
Actively review product database to ensure accuracy of product assortment
Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field
5+ years’ experience within a Supply Chain function, ideally in retail, FMCG, or multi-brands environment
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced MS Excel, SAP or other MRP system capabilities preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Hands-on and solution-oriented
