The Account Executive is an individual contributor who will report to the Director, Educator Enablement.
Your mission will be to generate opportunities and establish partnerships between Prodigy and schools/districts in the United States.
These partnerships will help drive increased adoption and purposeful use of Prodigy’s game-based learning tools via no-cost training.
*Due to the requirements of the role we are looking for candidates who reside & are legally authorized to work in the United States.
The salary band for this position ranges from $55000 - $65000 and is dependent on years of experience.
Your Impact
Generate net-new partnership opportunities with school and district leaders
Assume ownership of partnership opportunities generated via Business Development partners
Participate in co-marketing/co-sales opportunities with strategic partner organizations
Foster opportunities within schools and districts through the partnership pipeline by: Uncovering their needs in a guided discovery process, providing a guided demonstration of our products and services, securing a partnership agreement and commitment to teacher training, ensuring a successful transition to the Teacher Success team
Manage your pipeline, forecast outcomes, and plan/execute impactful tactics
Leverage school partnerships to generate district-wide partnerships
Consistently deepen your understanding about K-12 education (e.g., federal/state policies, evolving market trends, domain-based jargon, etc.)
Experiment with innovative approaches and double down on approaches that work best
Collaborate with key stakeholders within Educator Enablement and across the organization
About You
5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in the educational technology sector in the United States
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and being a top performer
The capacity to think creatively to enhance the entire sales process, coupled with the ingenuity to develop innovative ideas and implement them to foster partnerships
Experience in engaging with and conducting transactions with senior school and district leaders
Highly organized and adept at managing multiple parallel projects/priorities
Confidence and willingness to challenge customers' perspectives in a manner that is both credible and respectful
Ability to tailor materials and empowerment resources to provide customers with a highly personalized experience
Experience with sales management software (e.g., CRM tooling).
Bonus Points
A degree, diploma or certification in Business, Marketing or equivalent
Experience being a part of a scaling sales team
Experience in the field of K-12 education
