Project Manager - Corporate Real Estate

(MUST BE WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF SEDGWICK LOCATION)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To ensure a highly professional work environment by coordinating and maintaining all building operational activities with an emphasis on identifying facility, outdoor/grounds and equipment maintenance needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates and participates in setup/breakdown of conference rooms to meet customer requirements for size and type of meeting/event, including room and seating arrangements.

Works with appropriate department(s) on audio-visual or other equipment needs.

Oversees preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events.

Ensures the proper use and care of equipment within ancillary spaces ensuring all colleagues follow outlined policies and procedures within facility to ensure a safe work environment.

Coordinates and participates in all mail room operations/activities including standard and courier delivery of mail ensuring timely/quality mail services consistent with customer requirements; ensures confidentiality requirements are met to meet all security and audit requirements.

Identifies facilities and equipment maintenance needs and coordinates repair services.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with leadership, staff, contractors, vendors, suppliers and others encountered in the course of maintaining the facility.

Records accidents, injuries, and emergency situations etc. and reports to appropriate departmental leadership.

Works closely with security team to ensure proper building coverages and systems are working properly.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supports the organization's quality program(s).

Works nights/weekends as required.

Travels as required.

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge

Understanding of OSHA/ADA industry standards

Detail oriented with superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task

Customer service oriented

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

Strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
