We're looking for a dynamic Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our global team and contribute to our innovative projects in mineral processing.

Join Sedgman, a global leader in mineral processing. We’ve been kicking goals this year with a recent acquisition, a new site coming out of commissioning, and some significant projects in the pipeline.

Due to our expanding business, we're actively seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic and internationally connected team.

You'll be involved in all aspects of asset management, prioritising maintenance and reliability techniques to enhance asset availability while reducing costs.

The role is mainly office-based, with occasional site visits averaging once per month.

While on-site, you'll see your ideas come to life and learn from experienced engineers and asset management experts, paving the way for personal and professional growth in this dynamic role.

Primary Duties:

Develop maintenance tactics and strategies for both internal and external clients.

Implement optimisation measures for existing equipment maintenance.

Conduct downtime analysis by gathering and interpreting relevant data.

Assist in conducting maintenance management and system audits.

Perform criticality analysis of process plants.

Facilitate or assist in failure investigations and root cause analysis activities.

Compile inspection, maintenance, and reliability reports.

Identify maintenance and reliability improvement opportunities for clients to enhance asset uptime and reduce costs.

Who are you?

Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar asset management role in mining or related heavy industry.

Experience with both fixed plant and mobile equipment is highly desired.

Demonstrate technical knowledge (theory or practice) of mechanical/structural vibrations and dynamics, condition monitoring activities, and lubrication management and systems.

Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).

Enjoy the challenge of solving problems and analysing data.
