Summary

Our client is is a leading application Engineering Consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. metro region specializing in Management Services, Technology Solutions and Facilities Services. They partner with and assist Federal, State and local government agencies; private sector Energy Services Companies (ESCOs); and Commercial entities in the design and implementation of their various Engineering and Technology related projects. Additionally, they are able to leverage an engineering team with proven technology industry experience that resulted in multi-million-dollar contracts within federal government, state & local government clients!

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a SharePoint Administrator with at least three years of experience as a SharePoint user and configuration expert. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks. This role involves working closely with three teams to deploy a "model" version of SharePoint that can be emulated by other departments in the future.

Install the SharePoint platform, integrate applications, and create libraries

Add users, control access to document libraries, and set permissions

Perform maintenance of the SharePoint platform

Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions

Provide SharePoint support and end-user training

Review usage and activity reports and make adjustments to ensure optimized user experiences

Keep up to date with SharePoint developments and perform version updates and upgrades

Work closely with three teams to deploy a "model" version of SharePoint which can be emulated by other departments in the future

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a SharePoint user, configuration expert, and knowledge of best practices

3+ years of knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks

3+ years of experience working closely with teams to deploy a "model" version of SharePoint

3+ years of experience installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries

3+ years of experience adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions

3+ years of experience performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform

3+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions

3+ years of experience providing SharePoint support and end-user training

3+ years of experience reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user experiences

3+ years of experience keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades
