Project Manager

Kuharchik Construction serves the Philadelphia, Harrisburg, State College and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton areas is seeking a Project Manager to become a member of our Estimating/Project Management department. We currently specialize in highway lighting, ITS system installation and maintenance, temporary and permanent traffic signals and high voltage electrical work.

Primary Responsibilities

· Procure work and develop clientele.

· Manage project development from initiation to closure.

· Be accountable for project results.

· Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle.

· Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with change order forms.

· Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.

· Work with other disciplines within the company to share information and collaborate on combined estimates to ensure all work is captured and properly estimated.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

· Solid knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals and techniques, as well as accounting principles.*

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.* *

· Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.* *

· Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.* *

· Familiarity with pertinent national, state, local and industry standards.* *

· Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail.* *

· Experience with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation systems and programs.*
