Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Dozer Operator for our AA Limestone facility located in Grayson, KY.

What You'll Get To Do

Safety

At the start of the shift perform a pre-shift inspection.

At the end of the shift park dozer and report defects to supervisor.

Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and company regulations.

Report unsafe conditions.

Report accidents or incidents immediately.

Operations

Drive the dozer in successive passes over terrain to raise or lower terrain to proper grade.

Strips the high walls in preparation for blasts as well as drags the high walls after a blast.

Level out crusher area, stock piles and maintain roadways as required.

Scrape and level for loader.

Assist in greasing, cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on equipment.

Maintain constant communication with all other operators.

Assist other operators or maintenance personnel when heavy or awkward duties are required.

Will work multiple shifts as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Prefer high school diploma or general education (GED)

Prefer five years front end loader experience

Prefer dozer, backhoe and skid steer experience

Prefer working knowledge of equipment operation and open pit mining

Must be able to carry 50 pounds
