Circuit Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must be local to the Grand Prairie, TX site.

Seeking an circuit card engineer with digital and analog mix signal background Circuit Card Designer. This is electronic design for a missile and launcher application. The position will require experience engineer with ability to decompose system requirement into circuit card design including requirement documentation for the design, develop circuit solution into schematic capture, circuit analysis, work with ECAD group on board layout, coordinate hardware build with electrical lead, integrate circuit card at the low level and integrate to the system. Candidate must have the ability to perform circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting as electronic hardware.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Level 4: BS+8-10 YRS or MS+6-8 YRS

Required Experience:

- Requirement decomposition for circuit card electronic design.

- Circuit Analysis and component trade studies or PCB component selections (ICs, FPGA, etc.)

- Analog /Power circuit design analysis using SPICE on Op-amp or power regulation

- Design local power distribution with power regulation using linear or DC/DC power supplies and analysis using LTSpice

- Circuit power consumption and dissipation analysis.

- Experience or familiarity with custom form factor circuit card design

- Familiar lab environment for electronic / Circuit Card testing, integration, and validation

Desired Experience:

- Schematic Capture; Experience with Siemen Xpedition Tool for schematic capture is highly desired.

- Design experience on circuit card design with FPGA, Processor, DSP, DDR3/4/5 memory, and other high speed interface (serdes) is a plus

- High speed signal integrity analysis using tool like Hyperlynx is a plus.

- Familiar with Military standard interface like 1553 or other environmental standard for electronics is highly desired

- Familiar with missile system is a plus.

- Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) technology and layout is a plus

- Ability to support system integration is a plus.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is 85.00-95.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
