Graphic Designer

WHAT YOU’LL DO We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team in New York.

The role requires a talented designer with a passion for creating thoughtful work across a broad spectrum of disciplines including PowerPoint, typography, illustrations/graphics, photography, print & digital design.

The Designer should be up to date on current design trends and most importantly, a team player who takes feedback well.

This position provides an opportunity to work with and learn from incredibly talented individuals in the creative space.

THE DAY TO DAY

Partner across Marketing teams to create impactful work, and across all social media outlets, in particular

Be proactive in the development of ideas, to illustrate and showcase Viant’s solutions and outreach

Layout and design graphics using photography, illustrations/graphics, typography, for social, email, web and other marketing materials.

Generate and manipulate illustrations/graphics, photography and text

Maintain a knowledge of, and stay up to date on, latest industry technology, trends and techniques

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within digital and print design

Some video/animation experience is nice to have but not required

GREAT TO HAVE

1-2 years working experience

Exceptional design and content creation abilities

Strong background in designing for major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.

Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
