Serco supports the US Army as a prime contractor to provide IBDSS Integrated Product Support (IPS). Our team offers Training, Fielding, Site Survey, System Installation and De-Installation, Maintenance, Remote support, Care of Supplies in Storage, Supply, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Packaging, Handling, Shipping, and Transport, and disposal.

You will be part of a team of logisticians, technicians, and field service representatives that work closely with our Army customer to support base defense systems.

In this role, you will:

· Perform maintenance, field level repairs, and training while working closely with military customers.

· Apply your skills on mechanical, electronics, and IT Networking tasks, including installs and deinstalls,

systemand component testing, and system maintenance actions.

· Work with systems such as BETSS-C, Cerberus, RDISS, Radar, PTP radio, television, and other communications & surveillance equipment components.

· Conduct operational system checks, troubleshoot issues, replace components, service generators,

· Conduct system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations; replacing hardware.

· Performs sustainment and maintenance on the towers and equipment.

· Performs site surveys to determine type and placement of systems.

· Installs and de-installs systems.

· Train system operators and end users

· Track and update work orders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor’s degree and 2-7 years relevant experience

6 to 11 years’ total experience in lieu of a degree.

A DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

Must be willing to support up to an 84-hour Extended Work Week.

Must be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to CENTCOM area of operations and mee the physical demands of seasonal hot and cold temperatures in an austere environment.

Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals, engineering documents, engineer change proposals, schematic diagrams, safety bulletins, and system update notices.

The ability to input data into databases; retrieve data for maintenance or reporting purposes.

Ability to use diagnostic testing tools.

Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.

Additional desired experience and skills:

A background in IT networks and Network Security.

Experience using COLTS and operating within the GCSS-A environment.

Training and certifications in relation to BETSS-C/RAID Towers (BETTS-C Certificate)

Ability to repair printed circuit boards and perform minor maintenance on generators.
