Arts and Sciences Evolution Ecology and Organismal Biology

The Research Aide will be responsible for general lab safety and equipment in the Hovick lab in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining research equipment and tracking supply inventory, organization of lab space, and assisting with ongoing lab projects by counting soil samples, and grant preparation via data collection and data entry.

Minimum Education Required

High School diploma required

Desired Qualifications

One year of research experience with plant-associated microbes or fungi, including data collection and analysis, is desired.

The pay range for this job profile is $14.57 – 19.43. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
