Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a healthcare administrator to be part of ODM’s OhioRISE Team. As the OhioRISE Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

acting as the primary contact and liaison for the ODM OhioRISE Team, with the OhioRISE Plan and ODM system vendors to manage, oversee, identify, report, and track resolution of requirement changes, policy and systems changes, and system issues across any impacted part of Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES) or OhioRISE Plan

submitting system access modification requests and acting as OhioRISE program lead related to technical solutions to meet OhioRISE, Medicaid, and/or state and federal requirements

monitoring OMES updates and the OhioRISE Plan to ensure readiness and/or compliance and assist in preparing corrective action steps

representing program area in the data research and identification subject matter experts (SMEs) to inform the development of business requirements, define project design, scope development, testing, and implementation of IT system updates

acting as OhioRISE program manager for OMES (e.g., enrollment, claim/encounter submission, capitation payment, electronica data interface files (EDI))

determining and evaluating risks that may affect the OhioRISE Program or OhioRISE Plan

utilizing standardized methodology to track projects and tasks including status and progress

Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 24 mos. exp. in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data analysis).

-Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, 65295. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
