HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in providing nursing care to the Family Practice patients; assist the resident physicians and faculty; assist in maintaining the functions of a medical group practice.

Practice Office Manager

Supervises:

None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:

Required Education:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school or college-level Medical Assistant (MA) training course.

Required Experience:

None required. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience preferred.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Diploma, certificate, transcript, et cetera demonstrating successful MA training course completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One (1) year (or more) of relevant job-related experience.
