As a Receiving Supervisor, you'll be responsible for total operation of the Receiving Department including the accounting of all DSD product initially received through the backdoor and the accompanying paperwork. You'll also oversee wareroom conditions and organization.

What is the work?

Management:

- Ensures accuracy of invoices; verifies all incoming truck seals and completes seal reports

- Communicates delivery schedule with managers and vendors

- Maintains positive relationships with vendors

- Maintains safety / sanitation of equipment and department; maintain sanitation standards throughout the work area

- Loads and unloads trucks; moves heavy product to storage areas

- Prepares work schedules, orders product, controls inventory

- Regularly performs Receiving Partner duties

What is your background?

- Minimum age 18 (mandatory)

- Experience in leadership / management

- Experience in ordering, inventory management, and shrink control

- MHE certification (forklift / power jack training)

- SRS certification

- Receiver certification

Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Receiving Supervisor?

- Knowledge of department SOPs

- Interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills

- Organization and planning skills

- Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel), and H-E-B systems

- Ability to build, motivate, and maintain staff

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks

Can you...

- Function in a fast-paced, retail environment

- Continuously stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and side to side throughout shift

- Regularly work in cooler environment and in wet conditions

- Occasionally lift and carry 40-60 lbs

- Work extended hours and varying work schedule as dictated by the business
