Financial Analyst Specialist, Sr

Position Summary:

Provides advanced level of support for a variety of corporate programs including, but not limited to, benchmarking, internal data collection, input and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Maintains security access for users of the EPSI system; assists in ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the EPSI system.

Captures volume statistics at the department and site levels; evaluate, package and disseminates data to various users.

Performs financial analysis and other financial information as requested.

Participates in the development of the capital and operating budgets and the five year financial forecast.

Provides historical statistical trend analysis and makes formal projections of information using forecasting and modeling assumptions.

Completes surveys and questionnaires using data assimilated from various departments and systems in the organization.

Accumulates and records statistics in appropriate spreadsheets, databases and other computer systems.

Serves on tasks forces/committees and provides financial information.

Assists in month end process by performing analysis, allocations and/or review of actual and budgeted data.

Maintains chart of accounts and other tables in the Financial Planning systems including McKesson Trendstar, Thomson ACTION OI, EPSi and the Strata suite of forecasting and capital software.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education/Training

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance.

Licensure/Certification

None.

Experience

Four (4) years financial analysis experience is required. Extensive PC experience with Microsoft Office software is required. A Master’s degree may offset two years of required experience.
