The Breast Center’s comprehensive care is thoughtfully designed for women undergoing the journey to overcome breast disease. Dr. Neil Friedman, Director of The Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy, leads one of the most respected breast care clinical teams in Baltimore. Our breast surgeons work in close collaboration with Mercy’s talented team of breast reconstruction surgeons to offer women a variety of advanced microsurgical breast reconstruction options following breast cancer surgery.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Physician Assistant with a strong interest in breast & plastic surgery, specifically: working with breast cancer patients, as well as other cosmetic and reconstructive patients.

Comfortable with basic surgical techniques and patient care; experience preferred. Interested in learning advanced concepts in microsurgery and acute perioperative and postoperative management.

Self-motivated individual who is adaptable, a quick learner, and is confident working independently when appropriate and necessary.

Works well with both patients and colleagues, sometimes under stressful circumstances.

Follows through on tasks consistently to ensure completion.

Full-time position with schedule flexibility to allow for completion of surgical cases which may run late. Rotating on call schedule, no weekends.

Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required as well as the desire to be part of a team that functions at the highest level.

Qualifications:

Must have completed a Certified Physician Assistant Program

License Requirements: Maryland PA License, DEA, CDS
