Overview:
Supervises and manages civil and mechanical foreman and craft .
Responsibilities:
Organizes supervision on the project to establish the proper crew sizes for each individual crew.
Educates and conducts training with craft on the Suntech Module setting and placement.
Educates and conducts training with craft on the Schletter Post/Rack installation.
Educates and conducts training with craft on the General Electric (GE) Inverter setting and placement.
Update Construction Manager with daily progress and weekly look-ahead plan.
Participates and provides feedback for the daily planning meeting with all foreman/craft.
Tracks and requests the necessary material to complete the work.
Supports QC/QA manager in the field.
Assists Construction Manager in updating project schedule.
Monitors crew size and craft makeup to meet project safety, quality, and production goals.
Understand and communicate productivity expectations to crew.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have knowledge pertaining to the installation of the Suntech Solar Panels.
Must have a background installing the Schletter Racks for the modules.
Must have a background with GE inverters.
3 years of solar mechanical and civil experience in a supervisory role
OSHA 10 Hour
Knowledge of solar post/foundations, modules, racking, collection trenching and cut/fill requirements for a solar facility
