Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (RN):

Responsible for staff development, nursing education and management of nursing practice

Coordinate nursing staff orientation and training to both facility and company policies

Observe and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff

Make clinical rounds

Assist with recruiting efforts

Qualifications:

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (RN):

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Washington; Bachelors in Nursing preferred

A valid CPR card

a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive administrative/management experience in a healthcare setting, with 1 year experience in correctional healthcare preferred.
