Now Hiring! Extruder Operator
Location: Delaware, OH
Shift: Nights 6pm to 6am
Salary: $18/hr. +$2 Shift differential
Job Summary:
The Plastic extruder operator is responsible for operating and helping to maintain the extrusion equipment. The daily task includes setup of machinery, monitoring the production process, adjusting machinery as necessary, and ensuring that products meet the quality standards set by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Uses forklift to transport materials to production
Assists extrusion operator in installing die, guides, and
Assists in stringing up extrudate, adjusting size and
Inspects product for conformity to
Packages product and delivers it to
Maintains work area in safe and clean
Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and
Learns about all aspects of extrusion line operation and setting
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand safety rules and
Work and follow directions with minimal supervision.
Minimum one-year of general factory experience, preferred in a Plastic Extrusion Environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended
Attention to details.
Basic math skills for measuring and the calculation for production metrics and quality reports.
Experience using hand tools which include calipers and taking measure.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
