Position Summary:

Nusano's patented technologies and methods are poised to transform radioisotope production and usher in an exciting new era in cancer care. We are now seeking an IT Service Manager to support our newly established West Valley City, UT area locations. As an integral member of our team, the IT Service Manager will deliver outstanding technical service and support while optimizing business efficiency and productivity. They will be instrumental in helping to design, execute, and maintain the IT operations in Utah. This is a hands-on technical role.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

Provide hardware/software technical support and troubleshooting assistance for onsite and remote end-users. Address IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruption to project workflows and client deliverables.

Utilize ticketing system to manage requests. Ensure detailed, accurate records of requests, statuses, and resolutions.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects, such as software implementations, technology upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes and deliverables.

Provide guidance, direction, and support to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the IT department.

Work effectively with staff in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.

Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect sensitive data and intellectual property. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Deploy security patches and updates to workstations in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users while maximizing security effectiveness.

Provide onsite setup and maintenance of video conferencing and AV equipment hardware.

Monitor and maintain inventory of all assets, including hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and contracts.

Complete all new hire setups including IT orientations, equipment shipping, and laptop setups.

Provide training on new systems. Consistently update training material and reference documents.

Optimize IT operations processes and procedures to increase business efficiency and effectiveness.

Facilitate in-warranty repairs.

Support other sites outside of Utah as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.

5+ years of professional experience in a service desk environment, including experience using a ticketing system, documentation system, and remote management application.

Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

Experience working in a hybrid Windows environment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.

Ability to effectively convey technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a customer-centric approach to resolving service-related challenges.

Strongly motivated to drive innovation and leverage technology to enhance processes and outcomes.

Proven track record of working independently to resolve issues using established processes, procedures, and standards.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with managing teams.

Experience in a start-up and/or rapidly growing work environment.

Understanding of validated environments (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley and cGxP).

Familiarity with other operating systems such as macOS, iOS, Linux, and Android.

Knowledge of ITIL frameworks.

Experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, and/or pharmaceutical industries.

Physical Requirements:

Work to be conducted in an office environment, laboratories, and/or production environment.

Ability to travel to company locations within the greater Salt Lake City area.

Must be comfortable working within radiation environments and/or GMP.

Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull a maximum of 30 pounds.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse, and manual dexterity.

Ability to occasionally travel for IT support, training, and attending conferences.
