You will have the opportunity to work with Software Developers, Program Managers, Cyber Engineers, and IT expert team members delivering a wide variety of capabilities to our customers. The NSR team develops, plans, and delivers emerging solutions ensuring the highest quality products are produced and implemented across a wide variety of federal government customers. This is your chance to be an active participant in and learn the process of implementing information technology in order to instantiate a lab and then conduct testing for our government customers.

The internship will provide opportunity to work with hardware, software, and network tasks to support the buildout of a new lab environment. The internship will also provide an opportunity to learn about a future career as a network engineer and cybersecurity engineer building an understanding of DoD and IC Cybersecurity requirements, ICD-503, authorizations and accreditations, ConMon, etc.

Required Qualifications:

Majoring in Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Work independently and with a small team

Demonstrated current broad-based understanding of computer technology, design, standards, and products based on both solid formal training and experience

The intern is expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgment

Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel and Office

Strong written communication, for both technical and non-technical audiences

Evidence of flexibility and adaptation to changes in processes, requirements, and priorities

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework in complex information system and organizational environments is a plus.

Demonstrated current broad-based understanding of security architecture, is a plus.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range:

USD $22.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
