About this Role:

The Procure to Pay (P2P) Business Process Analyst assists the Business Process Lead in analyzing and maintaining P2P business processes and systems integration across the organization. The Analyst will participate in defining and maintaining processes related to the P2P function by working with cross-functional teams consisting of corporate and OpU business personnel and IT. They will partner to plan, deliver, sustain and continuously improve integrated processes with a primary focus on processes for their functional area and related activities globally.

Impact: Under direction of the P2P Business Process Lead, and working with Functional, Business, and Regional leaders; this position will drive efficiency in business processes and other related activities through harmonization of business practice and standardization of processes and IT tools. The position is also an enabler of continuous improvement activities in current business processes, and maximizing return on investment associated with business process automation. Driving process and tool standardization across the company will improve resource utilization and organizational flexibility.

What You'll Do:

Provide procure to pay process area subject matter expertise to further the design and application of business process and system integration.

Participate in the delivery and maintenance of application processes ranging from ERP (JD Edwards) to SaaS applications and custom applications for the specific process area.

Enforce the standardization of best practices across the business (application of business process, master data, roles and responsibilities, and system use).

Actively participates in project management in regards to key organizational, process and technology change projects to align systems and operations with business objectives.

Work with Functional Teams to implement and drive process for JD Edwards with focus in their specific process area while adhering to existing global design.

Gathers requirements, defines and documents business processes/procedures using workflow modeling techniques and standardized documentation templates.

Partnering with cross-functional teams, execute plans to achieve objectives while assessing and mitigating risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of programs/projects.

Develop and/or support the development of presentations that deliver succinct/concise recommendations to management team and be able to provide rationale and justifications behind the recommendations.

Support project teams and monitors key measures to ensure project success under the supervision of the Business Process Lead.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

3+ years’ experience in their process area

Competencies:

Provide subject matter expertise in process area.

Must have the ability to multi-task and organize effectively.

Must be an effective communicator with the ability to influence change and the ability to tailor communications to specific audiences.

Must have the ability to empathize with customers and convey confidence.

Must have demonstrated ability to improve support processes and methodologies.

Ability to lead team discussions, solicit input and facilitate decisions in professional manner.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and develops solutions to problems independently and through team discussions.

Must be self-aware and willing to adapt to changing work environment.
