LMI is seeking a Senior Program Operations Officer to manage day-to-day operations and tasks for the Army GFIM Project Management Office. The successful candidate is comfortable interacting with key leadership, is articulate and proactive, and adept at shifting from routine taskers to reviewing and developing high-level acquisition documents. The Senior Program Operations Officer works in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, seeking guidance and clarification as required. This position will be partial telework/partial on client site in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and program management support to the Product Lead and Deputy Product Lead, Global Force Information Management. Evaluate and provide comments/recommendations on program and reporting documents and briefings, including Defense Business System (DBS) statutory reporting, Defense Acquisition Execution Summary (DAES), Program Status Review (PSR), Configuration Steering Board (CBS) Review, Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information System Quarterly Performance Review (PEO EIS QPR), etc.

Must be an expert in MS PowerPoint, specifically in development of briefing slides for Army and Department of Defense leadership.

With minimal oversight, manage taskers (due outs) through completion; tracks status in SharePoint, ensuring timely completion of tasks by subordinate elements and to higher headquarters. Seek and provide clarifying guidance as required from the task issuer. Serve as a first-line advisor to the subordinate program action officers regarding task completion.

Draft documentation for leadership, requiring extensive MS Word and Outlook expertise. Other specific types of documentation may include correspondence, memorandums, and reports.

Maintain action items and follows up on due outs for various types of Integrated Product Teams / Working IPTs (WIPTs) and significant product office meetings and working groups as deemed appropriate.

Facilitate Division SharePoint implementation through the consistent use of the knowledge center as well as through analysis and recommendations for improvement of the pages, libraries, lists and web parts in use across the program.

Assist Government representative(s) in the management and oversight of the PM ARDAP SharePoint Acquisition requirements development, training, data migration, and configuration management of artifacts, e.g. Acquisition Documentation, Acquisition Milestone and Decision Reviews, Acquisition Reporting and Program Reviews, Program Schedule, etc.

Serve as an Action Officer for program related tasks requested by Global Force Information Management, PM ARDAP, PEO EIS, Army, and external organizations. Consolidate input, adjudicate comments, and finalize formal responses.

Provide support for team efforts to include coordination of meetings, teleconferences, preparation and dissemination of meeting invitations, meeting agenda, and documentation, and action item tracking.

Initiate and follow through to complete the Product Office purchases for equipment, office supplies, and furniture. Specific activities may include price comparison, vendor research, and preparation of purchase request paperwork and product receipt validation.

Perform in-processing of new hires and out-processing of exiting employees; to include orientation of government, military, and contractors. Provide general operational and administrative support to the Program Operations Division personnel and activities.

Assist in organizing, formatting, typing, proofreading and editing briefings, reports, and manuals.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience in project planning or operational support for a DoD or U.S. Army agency at the O5 Level or higher

Expertise in various computer (hardware and software) and peripheral packages/devices, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Must possess a Secret Security Clearance and maintain good standing

Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience

Minimum 7 years’ experience with DoD 5000 series acquisition milestones and deliverables

Experience supporting Business Mission Area and/or Defense Business Systems under DoD 74/75

Experience as a Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC)

Agile certification
