Unified Endpoint Management Solutions Architect (Senior)

Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

Responsibilities:

Planning, documenting, defining, and evaluating technical integration information for major systems, and related components.

Verification, planning and actioning of maintenance tasks together with other infrastructure teams.

Assisting with defining and documenting technology platforms and dependencies for multiple environments (test/integration and production).

Understanding and monitoring impacts to and dependencies between existing technical and network environments and continuously works on improving the operational stability.

Working on automation of platform operations, troubleshooting and maintenance topics.

Interacting with an international product team, external providers, vendors and customers.

Treating security as a first-class citizen.

Working closely with stakeholders, and development teams in constantly improving our Endpoint Management platforms stability and availability.

Working with other IT teams on the integration of new features and components.

Requirements:

University Degree/Diploma in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering) or 5 years of IT experience.

Advanced knowledge of VMWare Workspace One (UEM & Access) and Microsoft Intune.

Proficiency in at least one OS/device platform (iOS, AOSP, Windows, MacOS, Linux).

Expertise in Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, SCCM, GPO).

Intermediate scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash).

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Apple technologies.

Experience with troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and integration issues.

Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem management).

Experience with technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Strong analytical skills and ability to understand technical dependencies on a global scale.
