Purpose of the position

Reporting to the Senior Global Campaign Strategist you will develop, execute, and manage marketing campaigns to generate awareness and demand for SMART’s freemium SaaS product, Lumio. In this dynamic role, you will work cross-functionally throughout SMART and with regional teams around the world to lead campaigns that directly influence the opportunity pipeline. You will execute marketing campaigns, which may consist of paid and earned media, influencer marketing, social and content marketing, co-promotional activities with partners, as well as other activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns supporting the go-to-market strategies for Lumio

· Monitor and optimize demand generation campaigns to drive awareness and leads; deliver marketing qualified leads and other campaign engagement metrics against North American and International targets for Lumio

· Manage and report against campaigns, ensuring all KPIs are met

· Work as a contributor to global demand generation and awareness strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and like-minded demand generation experts

· Develop campaign assets and supporting materials including automated workflows, landing pages, emails and forms that adhere to Lumio brand guidelines

· Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to create content related to your line of business, according to the content marketing strategy, editorial calendars, target audiences, campaign journeys, and social media and content marketing processes

· Manage influencer marketing initiatives, encompassing edtech influencer identification, agreement management, content coordination, and performance analysis for optimization

· Collaborate with partner brands to execute co-promotional marketing activities, fostering mutually beneficial relationships and driving brand exposure and engagement

· Ensure differentiated messaging and value propositions for regional campaigns that target audiences in customer-first activations

· Collaborate with the Events team to build experiential strategies and generate leads

· Be passionate about the customer: understand the buyer journey to develop a client engagement strategy and campaign journeys

· Contribute to monthly reports and accountability for demand gen, awareness and other commercial metrics

· Performing other duties as required

Core Competencies

· Background in SaaS marketing is an asset

· Ability to work closely with Product teams, Sales, Brand, Regional Marketing and other key stakeholders and be an influencer to global demand generation strategies

· Strong sense of market awareness; able to harmonize messages across channels and localize marketing campaigns to reach target audiences in various markets

· Ability to combine new methods with traditional campaign elements

· Familiarity with toolsets such as Hubspot, Salesforce, AdWords, Google Analytics, Canva and their capabilities

· Ability to influence and maintain exceptional communication skills, including presenting to internal and external groups

· Ability to quickly learn product details and adapt to new Lumio features

· Analytical abilities to both develop and interpret results against a KPI framework

· Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

· Bias towards action, positive attitude, flexible and adaptable

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

· Experience in digital and/or social strategies, including ad creation

· Experience in working with external best practice marketing organizations

· Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment

Education and work experience

Post - secondary degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent job experience

4 years experience in marketing or campaign role

Global primary/secondary education industry experience an asset

Supervision

· This position does not have any direct reports

Working conditions

Hybrid or remote work opportunity in a fast-paced work environment

Additional details

· Role is a one-year contract with potential for permanent role

· Role may require minimal travel within focus geomarkets in the USA and Canada. A valid passport is required
