iCallidus is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join our health communications team. This role is central to managing our social media presence and strategies aimed at effectively communicating health-related messages and engaging with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing social media platforms in a health or public sector environment, driving engagement, and analyzing social media impact.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage innovative social media strategies that align with public health goals and communication plans.

Content Creation and Scheduling: Create compelling and informative content tailored for each social media platform. Manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posts.

Audience Engagement: Actively engage with followers through timely responses and community management practices to foster a positive community environment.

Platform Management: Oversee the operation of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track engagement metrics, analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns, and adjust strategies based on data insights.

Collaboration: Work closely with content strategists, graphic designers, and health communication specialists to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

Crisis Management: Respond to public health emergencies or crises by coordinating rapid, accurate social media communications as part of the broader response strategy.

Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for social media management and content creation.

Compliance and Accessibility: Ensure all social media content complies with legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks, including accessibility standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the health sector or government communications.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media platforms and tools, and knowledge of scheduling software like Hootsuite or Buffer.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze metrics and KPIs to guide social media strategies.

Creativity: Excellent creative abilities to devise engaging and informative content.

Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.

Project Management: Effective organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new trends and technologies in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Employment Type:

Full Time, on-site work, must live within a 10-15 mile radius, comfortably and reasonably commute to client’s location in Atlanta, GA. Also, must be willing to travel to client’s other locations nationwide, as needed.
