Paralegal/Contract or Document Reviewer
Our client, a global company headquartered in Ann Arbor has a newly created full-time opportunity for an experienced Paralegal.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents, including contracts, emails, memos, and
more, to identify crucial information and assess their relevance to ongoing legal matters
Utilize analytical skills and legal knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance with
established protocols and guidelines
Collaborate seamlessly with other legal professionals, such as attorneys, paralegals, and
litigation support teams, to achieve project objectives
Organize and manage reviewed documents using efficient document management systems
Perform targeted legal research to support case development and strategy
Adhere strictly to client confidentiality and data protection regulations, maintaining the
highest level of professionalism and ethical standards
Analyzing complex legal documents
Providing a synopsis of the contract or document to Vice President working on the clients'
needs
Qualifications/Requirements:
Certificate from an ABA-approved Paralegal Education Program, an associate or bachelor's
degree in paralegal studies
Understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures
Proficiency in legal research, utilizing relevant databases and resources
Excellent attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills
Familiarity with MS Office Suite, particularly Teams, Word, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience or demonstrated understanding of handling sensitive and confidential
information
Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
