Salary: $130,000 USD Annually to $160,000 USD Annually Plus Bonus

Responsibilities

Be the CEO of your area. We pride ourselves on a culture where each individual can have the autonomy to drive the success of their area. We are looking for self-motivated team players that strive to help leadership make better financial decisions based on the quality of the data and insights you will present.

Coordinate with external tax preparers by compiling information for federal, state, and international tax returns

Ensure accurate, timely filing of US sales and use tax returns and VAT/GST/HST

Prepare and file personal property tax and other non-income tax related filings

Reconcile tax related general ledger accounts

Manage and facilitate tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.

Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process

Maintain transfer price agreements

Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management

Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects

Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures

Requirements

10+ years of public tax accounting and/or industry tax accounting experience

Experience with US, Canada, APAC, and EMEA reporting requirements

Working knowledge of tax compliance software (Avalara is a plus)

Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively to non-tax professionals

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership of the tax function

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting/Taxation/Business/Finance
