We are hiring an HR generalist position at our Company Headquarters, conveniently located off 694 and University Avenue in Fridley, MN.

Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of HR functions to support our 5 locations, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, recognition, performance management and fostering positive employee relations. This individual formulates partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. This is a full time, on-site role and reports to the Director, Human Resources.

Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment and selection efforts, including identifying recruitment sources, sourcing of passive candidates, conducting interviews, extending offers of employment and all pre-employment activities.

Works closely with management and employees to continue improving Reviva’s culture by building employee morale and increasing employee engagement and productivity.

Partners with business leaders to provide day-to-day guidance on people related matters, includes coaching, policy adherence, talent development, disciplinary actions, etc.

Assist employees with their HR related questions.

Processes unemployment claims.

Participates in the activities committee and helps to plan employee events.

Supports safety initiatives and assists with workers’ compensation and OSHA compliance programs.

Ensure legal compliance with all federal and state regulations applicable to human resource areas.

Coordinates with benefit administrator, broker, and employees to ensure accurate and timely enrollment and participation in the selected benefit plans. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions, participates in the renewal process, helping to coordinate the annual open enrollment process. Leads employee education on benefit plans through employee meetings and written communications.

Perform exit interview discussions, and work with HR leadership to define areas to improve

Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Director.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Human Resource or related discipline

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with all level of employees.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to both interpret and convey accurate information.

Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate different courses of action and select the appropriate one based on a number of different factors.

Self-motivated with the ability and desire to actively learn and adapt in a growing organization. A continuous improvement mindset.

Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.

Ability to maintain confidentiality required.

Must have the ability to be flexible and quickly shift focus as necessary

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn our HRIS (UKG).

Work Environment:

This Job is an in - office work setting sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively and operate computer systems in a timely manner
