We are seeking a dedicated Health Communication Specialist with strong community outreach skills to join our dynamic team at iCallidus. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing communication strategies that not only promote public health awareness but also actively engage diverse community groups.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive health communication strategies to support public health initiatives and campaigns.

Craft and disseminate clear, persuasive, and informative content across multiple platforms including print, digital, and social media.

Coordinate and strengthen community outreach efforts, ensuring that communication strategies effectively engage and resonate with diverse audiences.

Collaborate with public health experts, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and cultural appropriateness of health messages.

Evaluate the effectiveness of communication and outreach strategies, utilizing feedback and analytics to make data-driven improvements.

Manage content creation, distribution, and feedback collection processes efficiently.

Ensure all communications meet regulatory standards, focusing on health literacy and accessibility.

Proactively participate in community events and forums to build relationships and enhance public health messaging.

Assist in crisis communication efforts, providing timely and accurate health information during public health emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Journalism, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in health communications or public relations, with a significant focus on community outreach.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful communication and community engagement strategies.

Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on creating culturally sensitive and inclusive content.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems and social media.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Knowledge of public health principles and practices, with a keen understanding of community dynamics.

Experience in data analysis and use of analytics tools to gauge the impact of communication efforts.
