Job Summary:

The Director of Capture will be responsible for leading capture efforts to win strategic contracts valued between $5M and $100M. The position carries full responsibility for contract wins and losses and is responsible for overcoming any obstacles that stand in the way of a contract win. In addition to the responsibilities and job requirements outlined in this profile, Director of Capture are expected to take active, hands-on, developmental roles in all facets of proposal development and GTM strategy development and execution. This individual contributor role reports directly to the EVP of Growth.

A proven deal leader who can aggressively Identify, Qualify, Shape and Lead high velocity pursuits as well as build and craft highly complex pursuits.

Someone who can rapidly size up opportunities, identify gaps in capabilities, and lead executive level go/no-go conversations with minimal oversight.

A team player who enjoys partnering with the delivery team to shape the RFP, improve customer intimacy and identify strengths and weaknesses of the organization in pursuit of opportunities.

An expert in all applicable Federal Regulations and Procurement Integrity laws.

A passionate connector of potential customer needs and company core capabilities.

An individual who is comfortable developing and executing lightweight Capture plans inclusive of solicitation summaries, competitive analysis, win themes, price strategy, resource requirements and intended assignments, and cost of capture projections.

An excellent communicator who can quickly identify and recruit the ideal teammates.

An expert negotiator – someone who can develop and negotiate teaming agreements and statements of work autonomously.

An expert developer of the "Why us?" executive summary.

A strong team player. A team leader that will motivate and lead the deal team to achieve desired results in a fun high performing working environment.

Minimum requirements:

4 years college degree or equivalent work experience.

At least 5 years of successful capture management experience in Federal sector.

Superb project management, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven leadership and motivational skills to manage local and virtual support teams.

Very strong interpersonal relations skills, good personal presentation, must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have excellent work ethics.

Strong negotiating skills.

Good writing and communications skills.

Deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations.

Deep knowledge of the proposal development process.

Minimum Eligibility:

Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).

Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
