As part of the enterprise architecture team the technical architect will work across and within product engineering to provide architectural guidance, support, technology roadmaps and evolve architectural patterns. This role involves engaging in the full lifecycle of engineering projects working closely with the product engineering teams. dunnhumby takes a (shared) platform first approach, and much of the work is planning ahead to enable future engineering use cases.

What we expect from you:

8 to 10 years of experience leading design and delivery of enterprise software products or technology platforms

Experience of creating technology roadmaps to deliver Commercial and Strategic objectives, including timescales and the resources needed.

Familiarity with at least one of the major cloud provider’s technology stacks - Azure (preferred) or GCP.

Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tool chains

Proven track record of implementing architectural changes in Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban or SAFe

Experience identifying key business technology issues and providing analytical skills to understand and communicate design specifications that facilitate technical development, including the creation of both high-level and detailed design documentation and impact estimation.

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment
