Summary

The Financial Analyst will support the Commercial and Pricing reporting and analysis needs of a leading company in the manufacturing and supply chain industries. This role demands a detail-oriented candidate with excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creating external customer and supplier reporting and analytics

Creating internal periodic reporting pricing processes and deliverables

Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to operations and sales leadership

Managing customer rebate analysis and reporting

Providing various ad-hoc commercial and pricing reporting and analysis

Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends

Supporting price collection, analysis and implementation processes

Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends

Developing and maintaining dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required. Economics, finance, accounting, or related field is preferred

1-3 years of finance experience with background in financial analysis and/or pricing

Operational finance experience a plus with ability to work across multiple entities and/or functions

CPA and/or MBA a plus

Proficiency in software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI & CRM

Good analytical skills; ability to understand and interpret financial results

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes

Ability to provide meaningful and accurate financial information

Ability to work across multiple entities and / or functional areas

Capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment

Ability to convert detailed financial analysis into summaries and provide comments

Quick learner, detail-oriented, self-motivated, team player
