Job Description

Salary: $110,000 = $140,000

Job responsibilities

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cost accounting.

Prepare and manage the Work In Progress schedule (WIP)

Oversee and manage bi-weekly payroll processing.

Prepare and manage cash flow.

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Monthly bank reconciliation.

Prepare and review job cost reports.

Manage fixed asset schedule.

Assist with sales and use tax filings.

Oversight of accounts receivable and monthly billings.

Oversight of credit card program and reconciliation.

Manage ERP sync with Procore

Manage general ledger accounting functions.

Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.

Work with external auditors, consultants, and firms.

Work with project managers and senior management.

Supervise accounting team.

Skills and Experience

5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally with experience in month-end close, AP, AR, and Payroll

Industry experience required (Construction, General Contractor - preferred)

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor, Procore, Bill.com a plus.

Previous supervisory experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards
