Job Description:

Summary:

Student employee working in an administrative position and preferably does not have a Federal Work Study (FWS) Award.

Functions:

Support facilitation and design of educational programs, workshops, and training relating to First-Generation Students

Manage program logistics and implementation of educational programs, workshops, and trainings.

Provide administrative support for & during Center’s programs and operations to admit participants, track attendance, etc.

Research, benchmark, and assess other campuses’ educational & support programs.

Provide collaborative direction with Assistant Director for National First-Generation Celebration Week.

Collaborate with other student organizations and campus/community partners.

Serve as the co-advisor support for First-Generation Student Union (FGSU) & Tri-Alpha.

Assist in the management and maintaining the ongoing development for the First-Generation Student Union & Tri-Alpha.

Workshops, Trainings, & Campus Partnerships.

Will work in collaboration in the efforts of Transition, & Retention and FGSU in the developing reports to First-Generation efforts.

Provide direction for First-Generation support resources.

First-Gen Yearbook.

First-Gen Handbook.

Draft, curate, and work in collaboration with FGSU to create and send out a monthly First-Gen Newsletter.

Other duties as assigned with general office tasks.
