Job Description:

Summary:

Student employee working in an administrative position and preferrably does not have a Federal Work Study (FWS) Award.

Functions:

Support facilitation and design of educational programs, workshops, and training relating to STEP & District Scholars .

Manage program logistics and implementation of educational programs, workshops, and trainings.

Provide administrative support for & during Center’s programs and operations to admit participants, track attendance, etc.

Serve as the advisor for STEP Society, and Honor Society, and assist in the management and maintaining the ongoing development for the STEP Society for student indicted throughout their four years at American university.

Provide direction for First Friday Identity Based programming.

Create academic support engagements in conjunction with Academic Support for STEP & District Scholars cohorts.

Manage the daily operations of student success initiatives for current students.

Working in collaboration with Assistant Director to continue communication and outreach.

Research, benchmark, and assess other campuses’ educational & support programs.

Other duties as assigned with general office tasks.
