Role

The Account Manager will play an instrumental role in supporting the client relationships for the region. Work alongside a Relationship Manager in the servicing of institutional clients. They will interact directly with clients to understand their servicing needs, respond to client requests and inquiries, and provide in-depth information about our products and services.

Primary responsibilities:

Ensures overall client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of client service team, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns/needs to partners. This includes working closely with the Relationship Managers and acting as escalation point when needed

Develops good understanding of client's business, objectives, goals and market challenges, and ensure information flow and support from the team is consistent

Cultivate strong internal working relationships and advocating on behalf of the client internally.

Coordinates with all appropriate teams on account set up, cash flows, fee reviews, and client data maintenance including the completion of audit and compliance requests

Executes daily client activity, oversees transaction processing, and assists clients and internal partners with service requests

Work with Relationship Managers to develop a clear understanding of client requirements and identify service efficiency enhancements, process improvements, and service delivery using creative and proactive measures, updating procedure documents where appropriate

Involvement in projects or tasks to enhance the client experience, and other projects that may affect Investment Management clients or the GICG team

Coordinates client visits, due diligence questionnaires, request for information, and other deliverables for clients

Assist with preparation for client meetings including presentation decks & briefing memos

Create reporting for client reviews and management

Have a good understanding of our capabilities, fund structures, sustainability, performance and compliance systems

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

Onboarding experience / liquidity clients

Maintaining client static data / salesforce / CRM

AML/KYC knowledge

Data vendor enquiries

Ownership of operational enquiries or issues – Trades, payments, account setup and escalation where required

Supporting the onboarding and servicing of third-party portals as well as oversight of the rebate process

Attending client meetings as part of ongoing servicing of key client relationships

Assisting with DDQ/RFP’s where required

Oversight and ownership of escalation process for overdrafts
