Senior Associate, Java Fullstack Engineer, Consumer Banking Group

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels

Roles & Responsibilities

• Strong communications skills to collaborate with developers, QA, project managers and other stakeholders

• Familiarity with the agile development process and experience in continuous integration such as Jenkins CI or its equivalent and experience in Java OOP, multi-threading is a plus

• Strong organizational skills to manage assignments effectively and working within tight deadlines

• Passion for learning and self-improvement is greatly preferred

Requirements

• Spring boot microservices, Spring (spring security, spring integration, spring batch, spring data, spring cloud, spring boot), JPA (Java Persistent API), Hibernate, My Batis

• Unix/Linux-Any Unix flavor, SQL/Database knowledge/Performance-Tuning, Any messaging knowledge [JMS, KAFKA]

• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript [ES6], jQuery, Bootstrap, ReactJS, TypeScript and other good to have experience on Front-End Technologies, Node JS

• Responsive Design, Cross-Platform [Web & Mobile], Cross-Browser Environment compatibility,

• Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Web Services (Restful/Any web services)-Consumption experience is fine

• Knowledgeable of REST-Based APIs, Web Application Development Frameworks.

• Knowledge in MariaDB, or at least should have knowledge in RMDB (e.g, MySQL, Oracle)

• Preferable to have knowledge in Private Cloud platform (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker), AWS

• Any NoSQL Database [DynamoDB, MongoDB, CASSANDRA, HBase, etc.]

• Establish Continuous integration and Release automation

• At least 6 to 9 years of relevant working experience

• Degree in Computer Science/ IT or other related fields

• Java 1.5 and above, good to have Java 1.8

• Manage and Prioritize Project Work

• Experience With Git, Bitbucket

• Familiar with Agile practice

• Good Communication & Troubleshooting skills
