Our Health & Safety Assistant position offers more than just a job. We will provide you with the skills and support you need to succeed and develop in your career. As H&S Assistant, you will gain a great understanding of how Health & Safety works at Hovis, by working closely with our experienced site HSE Manager and getting real life experience at our Forest Gate site.

What will you be doing?

Ensuring that all agreed targets and activities are achieved in a timely manner to keep the site compliant

Providing an unbiased and transparent auditing function for the site

Supporting the development and implementation of sustainable HS&E management programmes

What do you need?

Enthusiasm and interest in the food and H&S industry

Proactive and solution orientated

A good and engaging communicator

Be able to work individually and part of a team
