What is the position?
The Technical SharePoint Migration Specialist will serve as a resource for the migration process from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. This role includes ensuring a smooth transition of data, customizations, and configurations, while maintaining data integrity throughout the migration journey.
What will you do?
As a Technical SharePoint Migration Specialist, you will:
Implement migration strategies including customizations, content, and configuration.
Ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
Support the availability, reliability, performance, maintenance, monitoring and security of SharePoint.
Provide troubleshooting and corrective action to resolve issues.
Interact with end-users to gather requirements.
Complete high-level designs to meet defined requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert for SharePoint.
Maintain documentation and process standards.
What are the requirements:
5+ years experience with SharePoint 2016 & SharePoint Online
2+ years experience migrating SharePoint 2010 & 2013 Designer workflows to Power Automate
2+ years experience converting InfoPath forms to PowerApps
Experience with migrations, conversions, and integrating SharePoint with 3rd party tools
Experience with customization options such as farm and sandbox solutions
Familiar with SharePoint Modern pages and site
Experience troubleshooting issues across multiple systems
Experience supporting resources performing system testing
Able to think critically and solve problems independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
