About the team:

Our award-winning FIS Asset Finance solution enables financial institutions around the globe to quantify and mitigate risk, manage capital and the liquidity buffer, and apply risk adjusted performance measures throughout the organization to optimize their risk return profile.

Our stack is based on C# and Kendo UI web-based applications with a fast track to a cloud-based solution forming a part of our core system.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET or Java development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, as well as at least 3 years of experience in development management.

Manage 2 teams of developers and provide guidance on technical issues

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems

Onboard new team members and provide training on best practices and clean code principles

Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Implement Agile methodologies and work with the teams to continuously improve processes

Hands on experience in .net and/or java and ability to code when needed

What you bring:

Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET or Java development

At least 3 years of experience in development management

Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong technical skills and a focus on technical excellence

Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable
