Total rate of return fixed-income manager seeks a Securitized Securities Analyst. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Portfolio Manager and assist in managing the securitized product portfolios.

Major responsibilities:

Analyzing, recommending, and trading securitized securities, such as Agency MBS, ABS, CMBS, and Non-Agency CMO’s

Backup other analysts in the securitized area

Generating and monitoring risk reports

Conducting analysis on ad hoc projects

Work closely with securitized research analysts to assist with new issue reviews, issuer due diligence meetings, surveillance reports, etc.

Model cashflow scenarios at the deal level using Bloomberg and other third-party, cashflow modeling software and/or proprietary excel spreadsheets

Education/Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in the securitized product universe

BA/BS required.

MBA and/or CFA preferred.

Strong quantitative background a plus.

For NY and CA based candidates, the salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
