Pay rate: $18-20 per hour depending on experience!

Days and shifts vary; includes weekend availability

The Cook performs a wide variety of tasks and processes to prepare and cook food for patients, employees, and visitors, following standard practices and procedures while complying with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include follow standard recipes, filling out production sheets and other documentation to ensure nutritious, high quality, cost-effective meals, and handling food and equipment in accordance with sanitation and safety practices.

What you will do:

Prepares orders for patients, staff, visitors, and catering using standardized recipes and service and/or plating guidelines.

Takes note of variances in recipes and plating guidelines and communicates issues to the Executive Chef.

Assists customers with orders by answering menu and recipe-related questions.

Build rapport with guests.

Follows regulations and established standards applicable to personal hygiene and food preparation, handling, and disposal.

Performs related duties as required.

Who you are:

One year of directly related work experience in the fast-food, restaurant, hospitality, or other culinary environment.

Dietary experience is a must.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of HACCP food handling standards and guidelines, and industry standards relating to personal hygiene in a culinary environment.

Knowledge of the basic activities/techniques employed in the preparation of short-order foods.

ServSafe Certification a plus.

Must have a OR state food handler's permit.
