Role Purpose:
To handle quality of product as per company standard at optimal cost.
In-depth knowledge of the technology of the beverage production and quality characteristics
Thorough understanding of the various process parameters and their implication on delivering the quality specifications of the product.
Ability to obtain the FPO/PFA licenses and ensure compliance with the FPO laws and regulations.

Qualifications: B.Sc/M.sc / B.Tech in Dairy Technology /Food Technology/
Experience:
Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in multiple products manufacturing –like Liquid milk, Cheddar Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Processed Cheese, Whey Powder, Milk powders, Yoghurt, UHT and PET line in reputed /large organization .
Must have exposure to lead a sizable team
Core Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Dairy products manufacturing plants, process technology and product development.
Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering (OSH&R).
Analytical skills in problem solving.
Communication and networking.
General understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers. The marginal contribution of the various products.
Quality Management system
An understanding of the competitor's products, how the product is distributed and the consumer's preferences.

Job description:
Ensure manufacture and dispatch of products as per prescribed quality standards, SOPs and legal requirements
Co-ordinate and support R&D in new product trials,pre-commercial trials & shelf-life studies
Co-ordinate, ensure non-conformance during visits of legal authorities & audits and follow-ups
Develop process & quality SOPs
Monitor the validity status of all regulatory Licenses periodically and its updation
Manage implementation of ISO systems, Quality manual and plant certification
Implementation of new requirements / reports and transactions
Lead validation, verification and approval of all new process, lines and equipments
Capability building of employees – TQM, QC Tools, HACCP/HARA, QMS systems, Food safety
Handle customer complaints and drive action plans for reduction
Budget planning and ensuring documentation of quality department
Ensure timely calibration of lab equipments and stock balance
Ensure that GLP & Safety guidelines are being followed
Contract manpower planning and shift rotation planning of employees in the laboratory
Assets management in laboratory
