Cloud Engineer

Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm

• $85,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience + potential for 5% annual bonus

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Cloud Engineer is a member of the Continuing Life IT team and works with the System Team to monitor and support Microsoft 365 services at local and geographically dispersed sites. Main areas of focus includes SharePoint Online Intune (Endpoint) mobile device management and Imprivata. This position will also assist in providing server and application support.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

Provision, deploy, configure, monitor, and support the following: WindowsOS, Android, Apple MacOS, Apple iOS, Apple iPad OS

Provide administration and technical support for 10k mobile devices.

Define and maintain administrative processes for enrolling and managing devices.

Ensure all Mobile Devices stay up to date with routine patches and upgrades.

Help maintain virtual and physical servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Monitor back up jobs and take corrective action as needed.

Perform basic scheduled maintenance checks of all in-house systems.

Build and control access to SharePoint Online sites and pages.

Respond to user submitted trouble tickets within agreed upon SLAs. Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution of tickets.

Support the management of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Role Based Access, Group Policies, Users and Computers.

Assist in training users and staff to ensure efficiency in daily operations and that best practices are being followed.

Proactively monitor and address potential security issues. Educate the user community on best practices for IT security.

Partner with other teams on their deliverables that involve IT infrastructure.

As appropriate, troubleshoot technical issues reported by community residents. Work to quickly resolve the issue, escalate to the appropriate in-house team, or suggest 3rd party support.

Maintain enterprise inventory and scrub for accuracy.

As needed, assist users, residents, staff, and peers at remote sites with technical challenges.

Assist Systems Engineer in supporting Virtual and HCI environments.

Other duties assigned tasks and projects as assigned.

What you will bring:

Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.

Deep technical knowledge in Microsoft 365, Sharepoint Online, WindowsOS, MacOS, iOS, AndriodOS

Experience with Intune Mobile Devices Management

Intermediate understanding of networks, PCs and hardware configuration required

1-2 years of experience operating in a senior desktop support capacity with Azure Active Directory administration.

Working knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.

Minimum 2 years of experience with enterprise switch configuration and administration.

Experience with SharePoint Online, development and permissions.

Experience with PowerShell for automation.

Customer service mentality, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Team player and problem solver.
