Pharmacist

Adelphi is seeking a Pharmacist to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pharmacy services to incarcerated individuals within the facility.

Responsibilities:

Review of all medication orders from prescribers utilizing the facility's computer systems.

Interpret and analyze patient-specific medical data.

Fill orders with correct medication and ensure prescription labels are processed accurately.

Provide consultation with prescribers regarding drug therapy of patients.

Supervise pharmacy technicians.

Handle and maintain all controlled substances records.

Review pharmacy technician's prepared orders.

Report pharmacist interventions and quality management (QM) activities.

Visual checking of all medications dispensed by the automated machine for accuracy.

Monitor and evaluate patients' drug therapy.

Any other duties as assigned.
