Cenacle Leadership Group Team Member Duties: The team member is the students’ primary instructor for the day(s) they report for an assignment. The team member creates a profile and accepts job assignments within the Substitute Management System. A team member works with diverse learners and helps each child understand and recognize the importance of leadership by using their interests, goals, and passions to guide the learning for the day. The team member must be able to work with a variety of adults (staff in the school, counselors, Cenacle Leadership Group coaches, etc.) in order to support the students’ learning.

Substitute Teacher Job Requirements:

Associates Degree, any major acceptable.

State Required Clearances (required prior to starting position).

Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to build a strong rapport with students and staff.

Professional and reliable.

Demonstrate the ability to operate in a fast paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Demonstrating leadership within schools and the classroom.

Maintaining professionalism with students, school administration, teachers, staff and parents.

Providing instruction while professionally managing the classroom.

Communicate with school administration and leadership on all relevant matters.

Create and maintain a stable classroom environment.

Provide classroom structures, routines, and expectations.

Take all responsible precautions to provide for health and safety of the students.

Establish and maintain open lines of communication with partner school representatives.

Report any serious accident/illness and comply with mandated policies regarding child welfare.
