Director of Emergency Medicine Training (DEMT) & Emergency Physician

We are currently seeking a Director of Emergency Medicine Training (DEMT).

Reporting to the Director of Emergency Medicine, the DEMT is responsible for:

Being the principle contact point for ACEM trainees at ERH, ensuring that an appropriate training program is maintained according to ACEM accreditation requirements

Providing regular feedback, guidance and support to trainees, and provide trainees with information regarding training programs and ACEM examination regulations

Supporting trainees to develop in all domains of the ACEM Curriculum Framework

This is a world class sub-regional hospital which services a catchment population of approximately 45,000. ERH provides a comprehensive range of health services, including: emergency; medical; surgical; rehabilitation; maternity; paediatrics; urology; orthopaedics; ophthalmology; dental; chemotherapy; and haemodialysis.

The Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 21,000 presentations per annum.

Work visa can be provided for this role

Expected salary: $400,000 - $580,000 per year
